one search -- five seconds.

What the heck does this mean? What is the program trying to tell me?

1. "Leave me alone. I'll do your search for you in five seconds, 'cause I'm doing something else right now. So wait five seconds for the search to begin."

2. "I'll search for it, but there's no need to give me more than five seconds, because if I haven't found it by then, I won't. You can feel free to stop me after five seconds."

3. "I'm only gonna search for a period of five seconds each time you hit that "search" button, results or no."

Technically, 1.

If you read the help file, it says something to the effect of:

Because we support multiple searches, and because we don't want people constantly flooding GNet with search requests, we are going to limit you. You can only start a *new* search every 5 seconds. If you try to start one before that 5 secs is up, you'll get the message window telling you to hold your horses for a couple more seconds.

Clear as mud hopefully - Snakeman out.
