Copy download info to clipboard not working? I've had this problem with both versions 0.6.6 and 0.70 where this option may work once (or not at all), then afterwards, will not work at all. The information in the clipboard remains unchanged even after clicking and selecting this option. Any ideas? NitohRyu |
more than likely your problem is that you hit copy(ctrl+c) or cut(ctrl+x) on something else w/o realizing it. I know the problem doesn't lie with the versions themselves because I have used that feature myself on several occasions w/o a problem. Also you chould check to see if you have any other programs running that have access to the clipboard. |
I don't think that's it. If I have some old text in the clipboard, and I use the copy download info option and go straight to Internet Explorer, it still pastes the old text. So it's not getting overwritten anywhere or blocked. I am running Windows 2000, so maybe something isn't compatible there. I'll try it in 98 a little later too. NitohRyu |
Well, I just got a chance to check this in Windows 98 and it works fine. When I installed Gnotella in Windows 2000, it triggered Windows File Protection, so apparently the different version of the DLLs that are not being replaced are causing this option not to work properly. Perhaps this might be the cause of some other problems people are having? |
