Unhappy

unistalled and reinstalled to fix the problem. but now have a new one. unable to share files, get error "active-x can create object." Using win98 first edition. not really sure how to implement the solution from other topics with similar problem. assume no knowledge of dos when posting a response.

Please goto the run command and type
"regsvr32 c:\windows\system\scrrun.dll"
without the quotes, this will fix your problem. You may have a slightly different path so you may wish to search for scrrun.dll and use the path found.
