Yep, brutal cpu utilization. You'd think this would be top priority, but i guess not.

On W2k 2198 sp1 256MB and PIII 800, 90% of
the CPU is used. After running the client
for a day, I got greeted with 64 MB of
memory used, plus 64MB of virtual memory
used. That's more like a memory rupture.
It's a hog even on start -- 15MB.
The interface is great, but I just can't
afford the performance hit.

Gnotella has always been a hog and I noticed that if there were a lot of items being filtered out, the CPU would run hotter (temperature) than if I manually cleared it. Of course, sometimes all the automated spam searches will cause the filter to trigger and fill up with obsolete search items.
