Help Please!

Whenever I try to run Gnotella it gives me this message:

"The file 'OLEAUT32.DLL' is out of date. This program requires a newer version."

I have even downloaded the patch, deleted everything and tried again, but it always gives me that message?

Am I doing somthing wrong or just plain stupid??? <I have a feeling its the latter>
