Can't Install

When I try to install I get a message that says "Run-time error 429" Can anyone tell me what this means and how to fix it? Thanks

I have no idea whatsoever what this means. But I can give you a good advice. Try Furi instead. It definitely is the better client and I haven´t heard of such problems with it yet.

I've read the text you've mentioned several times, none of it has helped. First, the setup program didn't work, it said: "The C:\WINDOWS\SETUP1.EXE file appears to be corrupt. Reinstall the file, and then try again." I then tried to manually unpack the gnotella.cab file placing all the files where the setup.lst file indicated they should go. When attempting to run the program, I entered all of the initial setup information and then I, like so many others, encountered the Runtime error 429 problem. I've tried placing the program in different directories. I've rebooted. What's wrong? And why won't the setup program work? I wish I'd kept 0.70, it worked pretty well.
