gnotella crashing

I'm using gnotella ver 1.05 and I'm sure a lot of people are ****ed off at me by now because after a couple hours of uptime, gnotella stops responding and must be shut down and restarted. of course the people who were uploading got cut off and rarely seem to get reconnected. I never had this trouble with older versions of gnotella like ver .9x . and the older versions seemed to give priority to cut-off uploaders because they would immediately resume after gnotella restart. So my questions are: has anyone had similar trouble with gnotella crash and know a fix, and does anyone know where to get the older versions? I've looked all over.

Re: gnotella crashing

The problems of stability can be solved. Stay connected only to 4-8 hosts, limit the number of hosts visible to 500 (actually this is not necessary for me, but it consumes CPU resources), and refresh your hosts list every time you see a delay in respose. BTW, older versions can be found here, and also a new one, v 1.2.0 beta and 1.1.0 beta. You need to have v 1.0.5 installed to get them to work.
