I don't know if this is a stupid tip but you can manualy resume files in gnutella. Its way easy to do.

Í'll explain.
you're downloading the file Microcrap.exe
its about 688 MB and in all of a sudden the connection is lost and you've only neede 2 mb That sux HARD. Do the following :

Go to yor gnutella temp directory (assignt in setup) en search for the file name. It looks like this 7878Microcrap.exe

Next step
Search an other server with the file (it must be the same length) and start downloading again.

Final Step (its a hard one)
now there are 2 files in your gnutella temp directory the 7878Microcrap.exe(the 686MB)
and 2378Microcrap.exe(0,5MB) ok rename the 7878Microcrap.exe to 2378Microcrap.exe1 (dont forget the 1 behind it can be any character anyway this because of same file names :-)). Now handle fast. Abort your download delete the 2378Microcrap.exe file and rename the 2378Microcrap.exe1 file to 2378Microcrap.exe Then resume your download and he will start at 686Mb
