PLEASE HELP!!! i have an uncapped cable modem connection and my gnutella runs sooooooooooooo slow. when i first get on and it receives onformation from those 2 hosts, it gets little jumps of info every few seconds and the connection is really dodgy. im in australia, is this y its so slow? are there any australian hosts available and if so how do i get them?!? |
oh and also when i add hosts to the list the dissapear after having no responce for like 2 seconds??? also what is outgoing and incoming?? |
Right now Gnotella's main limitations are it's sometimes horrible performance (dead slow on *any* system - especially if you share a lot of files), and the inability to resume from a different host (well, easily anyway). Also upload bandwidth capping that works properly would be nice too. If they'd just fix these problems, it would be a clear choice for the best Gnutella client. Even with these faults, it's still the one I prefer to use. Unfortunately recently the web page seems more concerned with finding venture capital to burn rather than updating the client. |
Check the keep up box then gnutella keeps the connection with the servers. Think that should speed up the whole thing BTW how did you uncappped your modem ?? Sounds imposible to me |
