Gnucleus 1.8.3 BUG: Dupe SHA1 Hashes!
 

Gnucleus 1.8.3 has a SHA1 file hashing bug that makes duplicate hashes for files with different content!

I have E-mailed the developer and there is a thread about it on the gnucleus web site forums at this link.

Anyone interested in this can open the file gnuhashes.ini in a text editor and search for a duplicate of the first hash. If you don't get one try the second hash and so on.
I deleted gnuhashes.ini to make Gnucleus recalculate them and got duplicates again.

Is this bug making the swarming and alternate location pools less reliable? I hope it gets fixed soon!

The files range in size from 3K to over 200M but they all have the same hash.
