You can check the results on http://www.gnucleus.com/research/mapping.html You can check whether you are an ultrapeer if you right click on a connected host in the advanced tab and click on more info. Then you have to check whether your client has responded with X-Ultrapeer: True. No, currently there's nothing like Shareaktor, or yes... Theres Bitzi.com |

Yes, it's OK. I checked in the browser window, and it says "running in SuperNode mode". That's what accounts for the extra traffic. I also checked Bitzi. One thing about them worries me - that we are uploading to them a list of files which we have on our HDD. Supposing they co-relate that info with our IP info, then they can submit to RIAA or other agencies a list of the biggest file owners. I posted a question about this in their forum, but the post was not accepted. |
Thats not really correct. You can check the file stats on Bitzi, that doesnt mean you own the file or you are going to download it right? If you want to upload any information on a file you have you need to download program called The Bitzi Bitcollider Utility Currently the gnutella clients like RAZA, LIME or BEAR only use Bitzi for lookup, so its quite one-way. |

No one seems to address this point. I checked on their site and my post is nowhere to be seen. They must have supressed it. |

No one said that you were downloading it. I can go to amazon.com and view the list of the songs from an album, does that mean I'm going to download it somewhere illegal? |
