how to get around ISPs that block and limit bandwith

I am at a university where they have blocked connections to the Gnutella network. Is there anything I can do to get around their firewall at all.

Probably your university has blocked port 6346.
Try to connect to nodes which have other port numbers,
use GWebcache to find those.

To get incoming connections, set your local port to something different than 6346.

E.g. you could use the HTTP port 80, or try to use a port number within the area windoze uses for random ports

btw. hi Paradog, sorry that i'm not online very often!
