Private network in gnucleus

I understand that Gnucleus has some extra functionality for running private networks.

I'm wondering about running a private network between a few users of my ISP in order to cut d/l charges

What needs to be done:
- disable GWebCache. I belive this is possible in LAN mode and by using an IRC server of a non-major irc network.
- what ever they do, DON'T Obsolete host based caches. That does not do anything for running private networks

We are currently doing this now.

It depends on the number of computers you want to connect and how you want the network structured. For information on how we did it goto
