 But.... I've recently been downloading and comparing the various windows gnutella file sharing proggies... and while gnucleus is GREAT at searching and finding titles, it seems seriously and significantly slower at transferring files, establishing and maintainging connections, etc. So I don't think one can blame it on the underlying network/protocol.... of course, it may have something to do with the initial settings upon installing gnucleus... (which is why I am here, myself, looking for advice..)  |
