Just curious whether any of the members that have a fair bit of expreience configuring Gnutella, have done a full reinstall of Windows from scratch in the last few months.Due to hardware problems etc,I have done at least 3-4 reinstalls since Aug last year. Each time I have repeated basically the same install sequence each time, but the last two times something is different. The fact that Gnucleus works perfect on SP1 but on installation of sp2 it immediately stops working proves that MS is behind it.I still keep seeing posts where Gnutella has stopped working after reinstallation but no one seems to point the finger in that direction?

You may have to reconfigure the firewall in SP2 to allow it again. Also, go to
www.lvllord.de and download his tool. Use it to raise the artificial 10 new
connections per second limit to 50 or more.

Asaide from that SP2 should be no problem.

I reconfigured the firewall straight after installing sp2 but nothing each time.As I mentioned b4 ,it used to work with the updates but suudenly stopped.Has anyone figured what could have caused the change at all?
Thanks,I'll try what you suggested.

Looks like Gnucleus development has stopped a year ago and their forum is missing too.
I wasn't expecting to find that. Kinda got used to having them around.
Try 2.2.0.0 and see if they caught that bug with their last version.
