Where'd all the hosts go?
 
First time I ran version 0.90 it tried as many hosts as the cache could hold (about 20,000) and easily got a connection from maybe 4-10 of them...but every time I've run it since then, it tries and fails to connect to the same four hosts over and over and over again The host-catcher status bar, meanwhile, stays at zero.

No combination of reinstalling the program and deleting the config files fixes this. The only solution is for me to run it as another user, which results in that user also connecting properly the first time and then never again...what gives?

It seems that the public hostcaches are no longer functionning properly.

I believe a workaround is in the loop, but meanwhile you can try to refeeed your hostcache by connecting to an IP from the following list:

http://plexicode.com/gwebcache/gcache.php?hostfile=1
