Problems connecting (Forbidden)

I can't connect to the main gnutella sites. When I try to connect with the "proxy server" option deselected I get errors like this:

** WARNING **: stopping "GET
http://www.zero-g.net/gcache/gcache....G&version=0.91":
HTTP 404 File Not Found

** WARNING **: stopping "GET
http://raphael.manfredi.free.fr/gwc/...G&version=0.91":
HTTP 404 File Not Found


When I configure the proxy option with my local proxy IP and port I get these errors instead:

** WARNING **: aborting "GET
http://raphael.manfredi.free.fr/gwc/...G&version=0.91"
on error: I/O error
HTTP/1.0 403 Forbidden
** WARNING **: aborting "GET
http://raphael.manfredi.free.fr/gwc/...G&version=0.91"
on error: I/O error
HTTP/1.0 403 Forbidden
** WARNING **: aborting "GET
http://www.gnucleus.net/gcache/gcach...G&version=0.91"
on error: I/O error
HTTP/1.0 403 Forbidden


-That's with the http option selected, when I select V4 or V5 it doesn't work either.

Support for proxies is broken. If you can supply a fix, it will be most welcome, as the authors of gtk-gnutella don't use proxies and support the proxy code only through user's contributions.
