Removing completed downloads

Hi,

the switch "auto clear completed downloads" on the download panel isn't equivalent to clicking on "Clear completed" manually.

Is this a bug or a feature?

When letting GTKG 0.91/0.92b run for quite some time the download list is full of stopped/interrupted downloads that are not automatically removed from the list when the switch is on. Clicking on "Clear completed downloads" does the job, but I wonder why the automatic removal doesn't do that as well. This is a concern, because when the list is very long, the manual click sometimes requires several minutes on my machine (dual p2/450) to complete, which makes the whole GUI freeze. Additionally all Gnet and up/download connections are cancelled because of a timeout.

It's a feature

It's a feature. I think the author of GTKG likes it that way: errors must persist and should not be automatically cleared.

Don't you want to know why the download failed?
