gtk-gnutella icon

Hello, i have been learning to program with the gtk for a while now, using the gtk-gnutella source as a guide. One of the things i have been messing around with is an "dynamic" icon for when gtk-gnutella is iconified. It has three small bars that display the number of connections, downloads, and uploads. I am now just fine-tuning it, so let me know if anyone is interested.

Uh, i don't quite understand what you are writing because afaik icons are very specific to which window manager you use.

Feel free to subscribe to the developers mailing list and explain what you did ...

BTW, gtkg currently does not have a icon, maybe you want to design one.

Most (decent) window managers allow the option of displaying the application ICCCM defined icon via WM_HINTS, or overriding it with another, e.g. when using a theme of some kind. If the icon is overidden, then the icon window is never mapped and nothing happens. The choice is up to the user.
