In mine, a DI-604 I have things set up in Virtual Server and Firewall.

Private Port    6346
Public Port    6346
Schedule          Always

Code:

Firewall Rules can be used to allow or deny traffic from passing through the DI-604.
                x  Enabled Disabled

I am afraid I havnt anything like that in my Zyxel router.
But I have a SUA/NAT folder with options like "Deafault DMZ server", "Start Port", "End Port", "Server IP Address", and a "Respond to Ping on Internet WAN Port" -button.

I dont understand any of this. Have tried with port 6346 and my Gateway Address as servers, whithout any luck.

OK, I understand. However, just to clarify, the two entries I listed above were not in my LinkSys by default, I manually added them to the sections noted.

DMZ is demilitarized zone. What that does is remove all rules from one computer to allow it to act as a server. Generally, you don't want to do that unless you really want anyone to be able to access that computer, or you set up a software firewall on that machine.

I'll wait and see if anyone familiar with the Zyxel router chimes in before I offer any suggestions that might or might not apply to your router.

Hum, ok, best if I reset these settings then.
Hope Zyxel (Prestige 300)is a common router then...
Thanks
:)
