cannot install version 0.92 - glibc.so.6 (GLIBC_2.3) is missing
 

I cannot install GTK1-gtk-gnutella-0.92.0-0.i386.rpm or GTK2-gtk-gnutella-0.92.0-0.i386.rpm. I'm running SuSE 8.1 and it seems that gtk2 is installed, glibc as well. The message I get is that glibc.so.6 (GLIBC_2.3) is missing

This means it wants glibc version 2.3. Please check your package and perhaps update them. Otherwise try to grab the sources and compile them manually. However, make sure that besides the binary packages of gtk2 you also have the headers/includes installed. If not present, configure will tell you.

I'm a from Windows converted LINUX-user :-) That means, I like LINUX very much, but I do not know very much about source packages and compilers etc.. Therefore I prefer rpm-packages. So which rpm-packes do I have to installl in order, to get my gnutella client running again?

With the 0.91 version, everthing worked fine. What was changed in version 0.92?

BTW: Where can I get the 0.91 rpm now? I cannot find it anymore. I had no problems with updates in the past. This was the first time. Maybe it's true: Never change a running system...
