Unable to connect with 0.92
 

On my Mandrake Linux 9.1 machine, I've always been able to connect with no problems until a month or two ago. Since then I haven't been able to get a connection once, and nothing on my end has changed.

I am behind the firewall in my router, but that's always been the case.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Also, I just installed 0.93 from source. I'm having no better luck getting any connections with that.

Even 0.93 can be considered old as 0.93.3 is out for a few months. Anyway, join the #gtk-gnutella irc channel at freenode and ask for an IP and port to connect to. That should get you started. You are most likely caught in a bearshare cloud.

When using BearShare, I am always happy to see the gtk-gnutella users D/Ling 100s and 100s of eBooks from me...
They seem to be among the best 'behaved' out there !!!
