Problem with search results scrolling to top every 5 seconds

I'm using version .94 on Gentoo, and the program is basically unusable because of this bug. I start a search, and sort by file size, and about every five seconds the results window will scroll to the very top of the list. I'm not sure how you're supposed to read through a list of in this case 4000 results before your 5 seconds is up. It didn't appear to me that there's a way to stop the results from coming in without also erasing all the results. Is there a workaround for this?

Thanks.

Did you try simply not sorting the search results?
