With Prefs, could you try if the problem persists if you restart Phex?

Do you have enough free diskspace?

king2 October 15th, 2006 07:30 PM

- i have enough diskspace
- after restart the message is gone

Is there a way to get this errors into a logfile ?

GregorK October 16th, 2006 12:22 AM

The error should already be in an error log file called phex.error.log.
You can find it in a sub directory called ".phex" or "phex" inside your user home directory.

Is this the official release or an SVN version?

In your phex.cfg file is a entry starting with openFilesLimit. Look it up and change the value to something a little below your open files limit per process of your system.

Like this for example:
openFilesLimit=100

You should be able to display your system open files limit by using 'ulimit' with some parameters...

But

same error did happen with a windows version ( friend of mine )

ulimit command give me :unlimited
