Please state your Operating System (Windows, MacOSX, GNU/Linux, Solaris, ...)
your Phex Version
and give us a bit more information what actually happens (describe it).

Wishes,

Do you have a firewall installed? Maybe the internal Firewall of your System?
Are you behind a router (i.e. LAN or DSL with DHCP).

Please also state your Operating System (Windows, MacOSX, GNU/Linux, Solaris, ...)
and your Phex Version.

We can help you far less, when we don't know the environment your working in.

And please be a bit more patient. We're doing this in our free time, and repeating or duplicating posts will only get them ignored eventually.

And it's "Gnutella".

My operating system is windows. I don't know much about computers, I don't understand routers or DSL's or how to change them.
Windows firewall is turned off.
Thanks for the help.

You need to forward a port to get better speeds from Phex, but since Google's your friend that shouldn't be too hard:

- Which port: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/help-s...nt-upload.html

- How to forward: Port Opening and Forwarding on Windows XP - hacker not cracker
