slow download speed, really slow....

hi , can any one tell me why my connection has slowed down , there was a link saying there was a newer version available, i downloaded it , and now my downloads barely even start!?!, also i have always had that brick wall saying a firewall is detected, but how do i get rid of it??? tho it has never seemed to cause a problem , but i just read something about it on here..

Could you check your router, if the port Phex uses is forwarded?

Also could you check your firewall?

The reason your downloads are so slow is, that your Phex seems to be behind a firewall, soit can use only about 1/3rd of the sources (those which are not firewalled).

hi , my router doesnt say anything about phex?? what is it?
i also tried to find my firewall settings but couldnt ... i use McAfee
sorry am a bit usless with computers..

And you stumbled into the Phex Forum with your question, which also is a Gnutella p2p Program, but isn't LimeWire.

Maybe that had a reason, and you should give Phex a try...
