Frozen Downloads- won't start but files out there

My queue has 44 files in it, all in various stages of completion but for the last 4 months, they will not even finish or attempt to finish. I don't know where to begin to check but I clicked on the phex.error.log and see the following:

Does that mean anything?? The earlier logs read this:

Hi dabbott,

The first thing to check is doing a manual search for the files to see if they are still available (search in the search pane, not in the download list).

The reason is that many people have dynamic IPs, so their address changes every day.

I normally remove a download if it didn’t get onward for a few weeks. The sharer isn’t likely to turn up again, so it’s more efficient to find a differen version of the file.

Do the error logs mean anything to you?

I can’t really tell you if they are serious. They look rather like the normal notices when someone sends you broken packages.

The out of memory error in the earlier logs look nasty, though. How much ram do you have, and how much did you give phex?

This may sound like a stupid question, but are you trying to play files from within your Phex library, or from within the folder on your computer where your downloads are saved?

If you check in your library (click Phex's 'Library' tab), you'll see where your files are saved (in the 'Directory' column). Navigate to that folder on your computer & then try playing a file.

What extensions are the video files?

Which media player are you using? Try VLC player - it's free & will play most file types: VLC - (click on link)
