Gnutella
 

I downloaded Bearshare about 6 months ago and it has been fine until yesterday when i turned on my computer a message which read "One of Bearshare's components has been lost and must be re-installed" Or something like that. So I uninstall Bearshare completely and re-install it. It downloads fine and it opens. I search for a song and next to the download status it says "Queing-Connection" And a mesage comes up saying that "Bearshare cannot connect to the Gnutella Network.

So, I can't download any songs.

Can anyone help?

The new versions of BearShare have been infested with the Zango spyware,
which your antispyware probably deleted.

Your best bet is to roll back to version 5.1 or older, like this, and
recheck that your firewall is allowing the replacement version to connect
again. (Some firewalls block software that has been changed, which is a
reasonable precaution.)
