Hosts Light.
 

I don't get a solid hosts light for some reason yet I do with the network one :confused:

Edit: I've left BearShare open for a while and still no joy

Try replacing your connection-cache with fresh cache. See http://www.gnutellaforums.com/host-c...bearshare.html :)
That thread also gives option of using the BearShare 5 Beta.
My BearShare Beta connects very quickly.

I'm using all whats suggested and its just the hosts file not being solid. :) Mine connects very quick too.

Edit: Its finally got solid due to me turning of 'forced ultrapeer' Cheers for the time.

Edit again: went solid for about 3 mins :s
