Hi, i have just made a silver theme and would like to know is there a way one of the admin can view it and if meeting standards they put it on the skins page. Bellow are some screen shots of it & if you want a copy of the theme please click on the link that says "Download NOW"

I found the link doesn't seem to work. It might need some editing. ;) I get the 404 error page not found.

Say ... if u have experience with creating your own skins would you consider helping those out on the forum who are likewise trying to create their own skins. From time to time we get questions from people about skin creation problems they have but nobody seems to know the answers.

By the way try to edit your snapshots to below 640 pixels or so wide so it's easier to load & view without scrolling for everybody & especially 4 dial-up users.

lol, yeah mate good idea n thanks 4 tellen me my pc must of dropped out when i was uploading (stupid dial up) :(. i will compress it in resolution n sure i'd b happy to help ne people out that need a hand maken themes.

Haha, that would be nice! The two main themes used for macs are already included in LW (metal and aqua), but I'd likea theme based on the colors of the gnutella.com logo, where there would be more blue than grey. Lw.com has available the "ocean theme" but it is not enough blue to my tastes... Now that I think of it a grey-orange theme would be great as well. Anyway, those are ideas if you feel like doing themes ;) You should submit them to LW, perhaps by PMing the user sberlin (LW dev who frequently visit the board).

So I made a theme too... it is called "Bleus'Blues"; nothing impressing, I might not even use it myself, but if you like it, use it ;)

hey i like your work. i was wonderin if u could make a red and black theme? i would do it but i have no computer skills. LOL. if not thats cool too. Great job with all of your other skins tho.

yeah i want a red and black theme too...if u go to the LW skins page or w/e, theres the "red theme"...i was wonderin if u could do that, but backwards..(where its red, put black and vice versa..)either that or give me a step-by-step on how to make my own..thx!

I am as well in Sydney! but in making skins do you know what The Colours are? I know 1 #000000 is black, any more?

Oh, and I just posted my own skin as well and if no one's answered your colour question iamstupido it's easiest to find a site online that tells you swatch colours or to use a program like the gimp, PSP, PS etc (just a graphics program) and get your colours off there. I used an image I liked and sampled colours out of it with a graphics program then transferred the values.
Also, you might be able to get swatch values through a program like dreamweaver or flash. Hope that helps!

When you're looking for the themes folder, if you don't have a .limewire folder, look in this location: C:\Documents and Settings\your username\Application Data\LimeWire\themes.
The Application Data folder's hidden by default, so you'll have to show hidden files & folders first;)
