Skins - installation help please!
 

Alrighty, I think I've done due diligence and scanned the forums for an answer and so far, haven't seen one that seems to go deep enough to answer this so here goes. If I'm being a knucklehead, forgive me, some days the blonde moments are worse than others.

I'm trying to download and install new skins from the Limewire site. They're .zip of course. I've downloaded the zip file to the recommeded dir as instructed, I've even created a sub dir just like the ones for existing skins, all with no luck. No matter how I download/unzip/extract, a .lwtp file is never created and therefore (I think) when I go to "View - Apply New Skins - Refresh Skins", nada. Once the zip file is downloaded, what are the steps to get this little gem of a skin into the appropriate place so it works?

unchecking read only & renaming does not work.
 

Since getting the new skins over to the theme folder, I've unchecked read only, renamed the files to (whatever)theme.lwtp and it does not work. Anybody actually know what they are talking about?

New skin wont work.
 

When I try to apply the new skin, I get the skin file you selected in invalid or does not exist please choose another file or use default??? Why is this rocket science to apply a damn skin???
