I want to give some help to the gnutella network, by hosting a SimplePongCache on a fixed IP address. One question that isn't answered in your installation documentation, is the network load that such an application will add.

I added this thread to the Limewire Beta forum, as people in this section are more likely to be powerusers & Limewire staff.

Try this in the Gnutella Development Forum, also.
I would move it for you, but I am not sure how specific to LimeWire your ideas may be.
