Newbie XP Question
 

Never downloaded any music before, was at a friend's house last night. He uses Limewire and I was hooked.

I run Win XP Home, cable modem, home network on a router. I've searched the archives for any issues and it seems that the beta solves the java problem. Anything I need to know before I start? Any particular XP problems? With the beta, do I need to get Java first or will it install ok during the limewire install?

Good response & if you have an issue connecting on XP turn off the firewall & try again.
