LimeWire beta acting funny on FreeBSD

I'm sharing about 2k files, on an average
LW's hashing 2 files per minute, which to
me is a bit slow for a machine with a 2GHz
CPU.

This is on a FreeBSD 4.7 STABLE machine.

The following java related FreeBSD ports
are installed:
* jdk-1.3.1p7_1
* linux-sun-jdk-1.3.1.05_1
* limewire-2.7.2

Ideas most welcome on this issue!

When being "elected" to run as an
UltraPeer LW almost always borks away
after a few seconds (I believe this is due
to the connection rate, but it's just a
guess).

The "browse host" feature intermittently
makes LW commit harakiri aswell.

I suppose the last two are expected, this
is a beta release after all.
