Yes, 2.7.3 just fixes the shared 'mpg' problem and the Mac internationalization issue.
Hmmm.... unfortunately, seems as though I'm still hav'in the shared "mpg/mpeg" problem.... :(

The mpeg files residing in my shared folder are still not showing in the Library tab, nor in the shared file count?

Anyone else notice this as well?

Any thoughts LimeWire Team?

When you upgraded from 2.7.2 to 2.7.3, LW kept your settings, including shared extensions. Try Tools->Options->Sharing->Use Defaults.

V2.7.3 Question

I downloaded the Beta version, latest build, and every time I use the desktop (quick launch) icon to access the program, Lime Wire runs me through the set up again. In other words, it does not remember my settings from one use to another. Furthermore, there is a lot of liminitation on where Lime Wire will let you download files to, or which ones it will let you share. Are these issues anyone else has encountered?

The program is installed on a Dell Workstation running Windows XP-Pro. Other than the above mentioned issue, I love the new version.

for Richard

Richard:

In what directory did you install LimeWire? Do you have write permissions in that directory? Did you install LimeWire as Administrator or as a normal user?

Feel free to email me at crohrs at limewire dot com.

Thanks!
Chris
