Column Header Sorting in Library

Hey everyone,

Maybe I never noticed this before. In 2.7.2, I am not able to sort files in the library with the column headers. This does not work specifically with the Path, Uploads, Hits, and Location. The others seem to work fine (like they always have). Is this a bug? Or has the sorting feature not been implemented yet?

Cheers,
Tru

it's a bug, but one that'll be fixed in the next release, along with some other enhancements, such as dynamic sorting, ability to hide any of the columns, tooltips in the library showing meta-data, tooltips in the connections table showing the connection-headers & the time the connection was established, an extra column in the connections table showing how long you're connected, arrow icons in the table's column headers showing which column is sorted & whether or not it's ascending or descending, and a major rewrite of the statistics, complete with pretty graphs that plot changes over time, showing things such as total messages, query hits, pings, pongs, etc.... and that's just on the gui side.

WOW!! Now that is a very hefty list of revisions/enhancements!

Is this info coming from a reputable source? ;)

well i wrote all the gui table changes, and adam (afisk) wrote the statistics changes, so yeah.

you can check it out from the CVS and see for yourself if you'd like. :)

i think you'll be more impressed with the new searching scheme built in -- should help people get a lot more results, especially for rarer files... but i'll let the limewire team discuss that when they think they're ready to.
