Yes... I certainly realize this.... I'm just try'in to stir up some comments (hopefully from LW) regarding possible timing/content of the next major release.

rutro, I think they will come out with 2.8. I think the next major release is going to come out very soon.

Maybe they feel more like 3.0... or 4.0 like BearShare.

they should do 2.8 an then do a major release with 3

2.7.10 beta is available. It just fixes installation (limewire.props) problems on Mac Classic and Linux. Seems those ZeroG installers + custom code have been causing problems.

2.8 better bring some major improvements in searching and catch up to Shareaza's G2 tech and Kazaa's fasttrack tech-for that matter. Remember, Gnutella loses participants to Kazaa everyday, especially to shareaza.
