Bugs in 2.8.5

I would recommend holding off on 2.8.5 for a day or two.

I have reported issues to Limewire with the following response -

"Your submission to bugs@limewire.com indicated that you are using a buggy version of LimeWire that requires change. Please visit the LimeWire download page and switch to the current version. This may involve a rollback to version 2.7.13.

Thanks,

The LimeWire Team"

I am running 2.8.5 Pro downloaded today and having a lot of crashes and strange happenings - Eg -

Files being uploaded reporting over 100 percent complete while still uploading, files showing negative time left to upload but yet not complete, constant notices that recoverable errors had occured, random refusal to move files to the complete folder, random rehashing of existing files etc.

I went to the download site to check "the current version" and the version being offered (2.8.5) is what I have. At any rate it might be prudent to wait a day or so before jumping into 2.8.5

That was an error with our email responses. 2.8.5 is okay (aside from a few bugs that shouldn't affect most people).

Thanks

Thanks for the input Greg

I am still using 2.8.5 and to your point it has a lot of minor issues but it is usable and I assume there will be a 2.8.6 soon.
