3.0.1/3.0.2 confusion
 

i also kept getting 3.0.1. i first thought it was my browser cache but it seems that the beta page is still offering 3.0.1 while the main download page now has 3.0.2.

i guess 3.0.2 is final. cheers!

btw: my statistics still go all the way to 300 kB. this is funny, why would they first fix the turkey and then put it back in?

{edit} oh, i see. the advanced statistics have been changed, not the normal ones

I went to the main dl page. Dled it. Unisntalled totally, trashed preferences, everything with lime in it. Installed. Still says 3.0.1. this seems to be a problem with me, anyone have an idea?

could it be that the (recently downloaded) 3.0.1 is still in your browser cache? the file has the same name (and possibly size), after all.

Cache cleared, dled again, installed, problem remains.

I usually use IE 5 for X. Uninstalled current version, dled it using Safari, same problem.

Blackbird, did you download LimeWire version 3.0.2 from the main download page? Use the download link in my signature. I use a Mac with OS 9 installed and I have had no problems with it.

Blackbird, if LimeWire works for you there is really no need to fix it.

Yeah, but it doesn't quite work, that's the deal. The problem I had previously, where LW quits after extended use, still remains, and I was hoping that the new version may have fixed the bug.
