How do I Get My Shared Folder Back?

Im an idiot and accidentally hit the "stop sharing" option. The shared folder went away and i was wondering how to get it back.

wdfjksd,

At the top bar select - Tools, Options, Sharing, Add

Navigate to the directory you want to share or type in the path then click - Apply

Is there anyone around here who can please explain to me, in a clear, non-emotional, cogent way just precisely WTF is so difficult about arranging the LW GUI so that NORMAL users would be able to do something as simple as to stop sharing their files for a moment and then NOT have any difficulties whatsoever in re-enabling sharing again.

The fact that this simple function cannot be made available to real users who are out there in the real user's world is inexcusable.

If there are other development projects underway that are considered to be of a higher priority than making the GUI actually usable for the largest number of people, than those who are determining the priorities of development need to go outside in the sunshine a bit more...!!!

Cross-platform client with connection issue problems... ?
That is understandable.
This pathetic nonsense with the Folder/File management problems... ?
It's crazy.

Do you have suggestions for the GUI arrangement, Ursula?

Personally, it seems fairly simple right now. In the exact same menu that has 'Stop Sharing', there is also a 'Add Shared Folder' option.

Don't get me wrong...
My comments are intended to be supportive...
BUT, there seems to be a lack of... errr, how to put this in a 'public place' ???

The straight way !

There seems to be a lack of acceptance of just how staggeringly wide-spread computer illiteracy actually is...
Wow, I hate to say things like this but you have really got to at least consider 'dumbing-down' the controls...

I am well aware that the ratio of 'problem posts' relative to client Downloads and active users is actually quite small... But, these 'statistics' do not indicate how many simply quit and never even reach the stage of posting about any problems...

Hope you do not form the opinion that I am just gassing off here...
But, client downloads and users numbers are shifting, aren't they ?
In the end, for the great majority of users the issues have little to do with the 'finer points' of performance... They just want stability with no surprises and something very easy to use !

Must be someone around here that can make a GUI for you that can be used with elbows only !
That could resolve some user problems ! ;)
