Does not trigger an exception under Panther (works as expected), I would suspect it is a Java Bug that Apple fixed in the later release.

And an exception that does not trigger a dialog box in most instances means that there is a try/catch missing around some event handler code, this should not happen and you should probably always rfeport these.

So, dragging and dropping text (a folder name in the Library this time) gives a NPE on the G3, but not the G4. Hey--maybe the jum is the diff!
