Help Out the New Guy PLEASE
 

Hi,
I just downloaded the newest version of Limewire today however it will not connect. I have a modem connection and am using windows xp. I shut off my firewall and tried to re-connect but still had no luck. I've noticed many people have had connecting problems so perhaps someone will know what my problem is. Thanks!

I had the same problem with my friend's Mac-that's a problem within itself-and after fiddling around with the connection prefs we got connected eventually. I guess the long way to get it to work is to change all your preferences around over and over, but that took us all night.:(

How do you have it all set up?
