Mozilla and Magnet links

How does one enable Magnet links in Mozilla? If I click on an URL on http://www.magnetmix.com/ I get an error message: "Magnet is not a registered protocol."

Also, it would be nice if Magnetlinks could be copied from LW via the Clipboard in other OSs besides Linux.
