how to chat on limewire

please tell me how to chat with the host in limewire,........ on rightclick it has an option of chatting.......but doesnt work..

Do you have chat enabled? Go to - TOOLS, OPTIONS, CHAT and check "enable chat".

You can only chat if the host/peer: 1) wants to chat 2) is available and 3) if you have chat "enabled."
