Re-requesting too much

Is there any news of bug fixes with inappropriate re-requests?

There is a new report in BearShare Labs where a user says a LimeWire 4.0.8 client is re-requesting for a file that is not shared. The re-requests occur on the same Keep-Alive connection and across re-connects.

IIRC it was fixed while refactoring the downloader code for version 4.2 but the fix was never ported back to the 4.0 source tree.
