The repeat search function relaunches the selected search (obviously). You have to click repeat every time you want to redo the search, because it only repeats the search once every time you click it.

As a (important) side note, don't start clicking like crazy the repeat search thing: too many search requests can flood the network and he overall speed for everyone will drop.
