Tiger compatibility

I'm planning on buying a new Mac next month and I'm wondering if LimeWire 4.8x or 5x will be compatible with Mac OS 10.4 Tiger? Thanks.

We'll see on April 29th! ;)

It worked with a Tiger beta and the OS is anyway second rate! What matters is the JVM.

Hmm..

Although the mac-implementation of java is nice, I completly dislike their cash-for-everything method.

They release a new major every year, discontinue to release updates or new programs to older versions and you have to pay for new java releases (because you simply wont get Java-1.5 for osx-10.2).

I use Linux, but just looking to windows-xp released in oct-2001; it will be arround for 6 years - withought the need to buy any update!

Well, just my opinion...I know mac fans will kill me ;-)

Yah, I'll kill you :D But I don't need it, os x simply owns windows while it trounces linux.... :p

Hmm..

Yeah - sounds quite objective. Mine is best, all others are crap ;-)
