Limewire 4.9.4 Doesn't Work At All

Ok, so I downloaded Limewire 4.9.4 Beta to test it out since I was having memory usage issues with Limewire 4.8.1. I uninstalled 4.8.1 so I could do a clean install of 4.9.4. All was going well until I tried to startup 4.9.4, then I got the BSOD. It came up with the error labelled "0x00000024 Ntfs.sys - Address F72E56D2" and stated that I needed to restart my computer. It also gave me instructions on what to do if the error ever occurred again. I restarted my computer, then it did a scandisk of Drive E:, which is the FAT32 formatted drive I installed Limewire on. Once I entered Windows XP I tried starting up Limewire again, but nothing happened. I noticed in the task manager that Limewire.exe was open and it was idle at 12mbs memory usage, so I end tasked it. I reinstalled 4.9.4 onto C: drive which is an NTFS partition, but still the same thing happened, it stayed idle at 12mbs. Well...at least 4.9.4 fixed the memory usage problem I was having with 4.8.1 :P.

Limewire WORKS!!!

After downloading Limewire 4.9.4 Beta I thought to myself, I'm never going to download another beta version of Limewire again, but then I thought I'd give it another chance. I downloaded Limewire 4.9.5 Beta and surprisingly, everything is working out fine. Limewire starts up and runs normally. Also, my memory usage is staying at a constant number, and my downloads are starting up straight away and are downloading way faster then they were with version 4.8.1. This is great. I'm glad the Limewire developers fixed the problems I was having and I wish them all the best in fixing any other problems that might pop up with version 4.9.6.
