playlist/help, Trustarwarrior No one's offered any assistance with my "stacking launches" query, so maybe I phrased it incorrectly. Here goes try #2: I have Winamp; I want to make a list of several songs to play sequentially, so I don't have to launch, listen, interrupt whatever I'm working on to launch the next song. The only way I know to do this is to depress "control" continuously as I click on the selections in the Limewire Library (a la Napster), but this doesn't work, and I can't find any reference to this in the FAQ...I found one discussion in one of the threads but I can't find it again, and as far as I recall, it suggested doing the "control" button thing. I know there has to be a way to do this...will someone PLEASE help me out (Trustarwarrior, are you out there?)? Thanks. |
I'm here. :-) About the multiple songs thing. For some odd reason, LimeWire can only launch one song at a time. So, to make a playlist, you have to manually add them by browsing your hard drive. By default, your shared folder is C:\Program Files\LimeWire\Shared. I know this is a serious shortcoming, but it may be changed in the future. Integration of a media player is being planned for a future release. It would be great if it had a playlist, too! :-D Do you know Java? I don't, but enough people have complained about this that it might be worth it to add this feature. If anyone is working with limewire.org and the open-source code projects, this would be a nice little improvement to add to your list. |
