No ..et voil.. I mean Limewire>Quit Limewire. I found that by changing preferences to Quit imediately and not after transfers would make it possible to close, which makes me think that Limewire still thinks it is up/downloading ...could be a one off, we'll see.

I model before yours I think .. (but my ageing G3 is not, it seems, able to install Tiger)

Limewire 4.9.18 Basic on OSX 10.3.9
